EFI Timeline: Interior Commercial Signage

Print New Hampshire was contacted by EFI to create a new interior reception sign for the main lobby. Lobby signs like this new one for EFI have a lot that go into them. For instance, in this project one of our challenges was figuring out how to mount a vinyl banner across an acrylic backer and then mount individual acrylic cut-outs on top of the banner.

Creating the Lobby Signage

Custom Graphic Design

EFI approached was with this project and already had the concept. They had digital mock-ups in place that we used as a jumping off point. After considering a number of versions we designed the banner and engineered the way it was going to be implemented.

Custom Interior Signage

Continuous Banner Background

The 61.5-foot continuous banner used for the base of the display was printed in one piece using our VUTEK GS3250x Pro UVLED printer and features details from historical schematics of EFI/VUTEK printers.

Custom Cut Acrylic

The acrylic pieces were printed on our VUTEK GS3250x Pro UVLED printer and cut using our Epilog M40 laser cutter.

Installation of the Reception Signage

Expert Sign Installation Team

Our expert sign installation team got to work placing the backing for the timeline. Then, the wall graphics were put in place around the timeline’s base and the 61′ banner was installed on top of the backing. We then placed the custom cut-out acrylic pieces on top of the blueprint backer.

Finished Reception Signage

The signage finished is over 62′ long and showcases 29 years of EFI’s history.
